Bring the UN SDGs to life with a game that inspires! Use Scratch or simple block-based platform to create a fun, interactive experience that teaches others about an SDG of your choice.
Sample Ideas: A recycling-themed game, a quiz game on climate action impacts, or an interactive story spreading awareness about poverty in the world.
Create powerful websites or apps that tackle today's biggest challenges! Use your tech skills to design solutions that drive progress toward the UN SDGs and inspire change.
Sample Ideas: A website that connects people with recycling services in an area, an app to help people improve mental health, or an educational web app highlighting different forms of inequality.
A new dimension of possibilities awaits you in this challenge combining the power of business with tech. Here, you will pitch an original tech-oriented product that aims to create positive social change in a realistic market setup.
Sample Ideas: A social media platform for young entrepreneurs, a marketplace for sustainable products, or an app that connects local farmers to urban consumers.
The student with the top entry from each category will receive gift vouchers and trophies, with a certificate of merit, while the top three will receive certificates of merit and other exciting perks. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Students will have the chance to get feedback from by industry leaders in the IT and business fields. They will also be invited to attend the expert speaker series revolving around cultivating valuable skills in brainstorming, creating and marketing tech products.

The fee is INR 350 for individuals and INR 500 for teams (up to 3 members).
Anyone from Grade 6 to Grade 12 is eligible to participate.
You can register individually or as a team, depending on your preference. However, registration charges differ for teams and individuals.
No, people at any level with a passion for tech are welcome to join- this is a celebration of learning as much as it is a competition, and we welcome people of all skill levels. That said, it’s advisable to have basic coding experience for the website/app development category in particular.
In addition to a trophy and a certificate of commendation, winners are eligible to receive gift vouchers and other exciting prizes (applicable for first, second and third place winners). Certificates of participation will be awarded to all participants.
Nexus will function online this year, with a final award announcement ceremony in Mumbai, at Mount Litera School International.
Registrations open from November 20 onwards, and close by 20 December, post which we will communicate details regarding specific timings to participants. The competition is expected to run from 20 December to 25 January.
Hardware projects are allowed for the final category, Impact Incubator. However, please note that the materials required must be sourced on your own.
Block-based platforms like MIT App Inventor are only permitted for game/story development. They are not allowed for website/app development or the Impact Incubator (doesn't require coding).
